A Brief Summary of the Application of Long-Acting “Huxing” Controlled-Release Compound Microbial Ecological Fertilizer in Rice Cultivation for Reduced Fertilizer Use and Enhanced Efficiency

China’s cultivated land and grain-sowing area have shown a declining trend year by year. Increasing yield per unit area is the only way to boost total grain production. Meanwhile, China’s fertilizer output has reached 70 million tons—the largest in the world—and its fertilizer application intensity is 3.75 times the global average. However, the fertilizer utilization rate stands at only 25% to 35%, the lowest in the world. Therefore, exploring strategies for reducing fertilizer application while enhancing efficiency—i.e., increasing yields and improving quality and profitability—has become a key agenda item for government departments and agrochemical enterprises. After years of dedicated efforts, Jiangxi Ruibote Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has adopted controlled-release technology to improve fertilizer utilization, leveraged microbial technology to enhance soil fertility and reduce environmental pollution, and thus achieved the goals of reducing fertilizer use, increasing crop yields, and improving product quality.
