How should broccoli be fertilized? How can broccoli be fertilized to achieve high yields?

Broccoli is cultivated in both northern and southern China and has become one of the staple vegetables in daily diets. Rich in nutrients, broccoli contains protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and carotene, placing it at the top of its class in terms of nutritional content and earning it the nickname “the crown jewel of vegetables.” As a result, there are many farmers who grow broccoli. Today, we’re going to talk with you about how to fertilize broccoli—and how to fertilize it effectively to achieve high yields!

Rich in nutrients, broccoli contains protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and carotene, placing it at the top of its class in terms of nutritional value—it’s often referred to as the “crown jewel of vegetables.” As a result, there are many farmers who grow broccoli. Today, we’re going to talk with you about how to fertilize broccoli—and how to fertilize it effectively to achieve high yields!
Broccoli, also known as cauliflower, is an annual plant belonging to the genus Brassica in the family Brassicaceae. Broccoli thrives best in soils that have good drainage and irrigation, a deep arable layer, loose and fertile soil texture, and strong water- and nutrient-retention capabilities. Throughout its entire growth cycle, broccoli requires ample fertilization; therefore, it’s essential to apply sufficient base fertilizer in a scientifically sound and rational manner. Five to seven days before transplanting broccoli seedlings, apply a combination of bio-organic fertilizer paired with Hei Laohu compound microbial fertilizer evenly across the field, then till and prepare the land for transplanting. To help broccoli establish roots quickly and promote root development, you can dilute a microbial inoculant in water and use it as a root-setting watering solution, applying it directly to the base of the broccoli plants. During the head-forming stage, broccoli has relatively high demands for trace elements. At this stage, spray the plants with a diluted microbial inoculant to promote growth, improve quality, replenish macro- and micro-elements, and prevent nutrient deficiencies in the crop.
Mr. Hu from Yuxi, Yunnan, is a large-scale vegetable grower with extensive farming experience. Yet, he often found that the vegetables he grew didn't perform as well as those grown by other farmers. This year, he planted several dozen acres of broccoli. Even before transplanting, Mr. Hu was already asking around everywhere about how to fertilize broccoli effectively for high yields. Later, he got in touch with our local agricultural chemical service personnel from Heilao Hu. They came to his farm to conduct soil tests on-site and, based on his soil conditions and the broccoli’s nutrient requirements, tailored a customized fertilization plan specifically for him: For the base fertilizer, they recommended using Heilao Hu granular bio-organic fertilizer combined with Heilao Hu compound microbial ecological fertilizer and Peiben Guyuan soil conditioner. During the broccoli’s growing period, they advised applying Heilao Hu microbial inoculants via root drenching and foliar spraying. Mr. Hu was very cooperative and consistently followed the guidance provided by our agricultural chemical service staff. Just a couple of days ago, he sent us some good news—his broccoli plants are thriving, with thick, dark-green leaves and significantly larger flower heads compared to those in the control fields.
